We love making gift boxes that surprise and delight!
Since Mother's Day hit smack in the middle of Covid-19 quarantine, many folks puzzled over finding a meaningful way to let Mom know she is loved and cherished. Taking her out for brunch or a drive in the countryside was not an option, unless Mom was quarantining in the same household.
For Mother's Day Sweetlife had the idea to support Mom, the community and local makers all at the same time with a unique, handmade gift Mom would love. Turns out our customers and the community loved the idea, and we were able to supply more than 40 moms with special gifts from loved ones. A number shipped to distant states, a bunch were delivered to senior living residences on Bainbridge Island, and others were set outside the Sweetlife studio for contact free pick up.
Sweetlife thanks our fellow makers: Carol Rolph of Paulson Farm, Lisa Wangen of Bon Bon's Candies, and Lynn Green
We would also like to thank everyone who helped us get the word out to people: Visit Bainbridge, Destination Bainbridge, Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor friends, and the admin at Bainbridge Senior Living facilities
Community is everything, and we love sharing the sweet life in our special community of friends, neighbors and clients!
