Who knew they would be even better together if you burn the sugar first. It's a bit tricky to make, a two person job to get the timing right, and the smoke set off the fire alarm until we learned to put a fan under the smoke detector and blow it out the window. Never a dull moment around here. Thankfully, the alarm company is aware of our eccentricities...

Layering in the jar is normal; warm gently and stir before use; refrigerate after opening
