2 large tart crisp apples
2 Tbsp sugar
2 T melted butter
Serve topped with vanilla ice cream and Sweetlife Farm Burnt Caramel Sauce
Cut apples in half from top to bottom and scoop out the core. Place flat side down and carefully make symmetrical slices 1/4” apart 3/4 of the way to the bottom to create a fan effect. Do not cut all the way through!
Use a pastry brush to spread the rounded side with the butter, then sprinkle the sugar over them. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Mix 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter with 1 cup plain oats 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. Carefully separate the slices and stuff with the streusel mix. Return to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Warm Sweetlife Farm Burnt Caramel Sauce in the microwave until warm and pourable, then drizzle over the ice cream and baked apples.
