Our first flavor was a reduction of Sweetlife blackberry juice infused into an aged balsamic made with California grape must, and the result was met with rave revues.
When we introduced blackberry balsamic at our annual Christmas in the Country event, we served samples of dried apricots soaked in it. People were coming upstairs to the shop looking for the "brandied apricots" they had tasted in the kitchen. My friend Patty was serving the samples and told me later we should sell marinated apricots next year. Now why would we do that, when you could make your own with our Blackberry Balsamic Vinegar, some dried apricots and about 1 minute of effort? Think of what else you could soak in this stuff....or drizzle it over.
One good thing led to another, and we have since added some new flavors: our latest inspiration is Autumn Spice; you can also choose from rosemary, ginger, lavender and blackberry, and enjoy dreaming up ways to use them, since they make pretty much everything taste better!
