Product Description

Sugar, cream and butter. Who knew they would be even better together if you burn the sugar first. It's a bit tricky to make, a two person job to get the timing right, and the smoke set off the fire alarm until we learned to put a fan under the smoke detector and blow it out the window. Never a dull moment around here.Thankfully, the alarm company is aware of our eccentricities...

Warm it up a bit before making an ice cream sundae with it, or drizzle it over ice cold fresh pineapple slices. If you want to get fancy, make crepes, fold them around some vanilla custard or ice cream, add a few slices of banana, peaches or other seasonal fruit, then drizzle with warm Burnt Caramel Sauce. Sweet ecstasy.


This Apple Pear Galette was definitely enhanced by the addition of a drizzle of Burnt Caramel Sauce.....
